CRRC Qiqihar Railway Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. Red-Crowned Crane-Themed Exhibition in Australia



On the 21st, the "Red-Crowned Cranes in the Eyes of CRRC Staff" theme exhibition was launched at the 3rd Chinese Culture Festival in Australia. At the same time, the collection of photos of "Menghe and Yunhe" created by Wang Keju of CRRC Qiqihar Railway Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. expressed CRRC Staff's feelings for nature and life, and conveyed CRRC's mission pursuit of "Connecting the World and Benefiting Mankind".
More than 20 years ago, due to the work need, Wang Keju, an employee of of CRRC Qiqihar Railway Rolling Stock Co., Ltd., picked up a camera to take pictures of railway vehicles, beautiful views of the enterprise, and also red-crowned cranes in Zhalong National Nature Reserve tens of miles away from the enterprise. Since then, the picture of the railway wagons has got the aura of red-crowned cranes, and the picture of red-crowned cranes have been filled with love from CRRC staff. He also shifted from the first person to photograph the soul of red-crowned cranes with a camera to a well-known environmentalist in China, world-renowned crane photography artist and one of the top ten global Chinese cultural figures among global Chinese.
In the past 7 years, Wang Keju has tracked and photographed a red-crowned crane "Couple"-Menghe and Yunhe, and truly recorded the life of the "Crane Couple" with camera, from meeting and falling in love with each other to being deeply attached to each other after living together, from feeding baby cranes together to not deserting when in trouble. In spite of the disappearance of the loved wife"Yunhe", Menghe remained loyal to her, and after searching the whole Zhalong Wetland in vain, Menghe left his homeland painfully to look for his wife. CRRC Qiqihar Railway Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. edited Wang Keju's works into a photo collection of "Menghe and Yunhe". Mr. Jim Harris, Vice Chairman of the International Crane Foundation, commented that red-crowned cranes was a gift from God not only to China but also to the whole world and that Wang Keju's works showed people the beauty and mystery of red-crowned cranes and their habitat, which are precious gifts for people who love nature.
At the Sydney International Convention and Exhibition Centre in Australia, Mr. Yang Zhi, Minister Cultural Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Australia, Ms. Wang Hongbo, Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney, Ms. Li Rui, Deputy Director of the Sino-Foreign Cultural Exchange Center of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China, Mr. Yao Sai, Vice Chairman President of the Chinese Culture Promotion Association, Professor Mei Zhuolin, the first Cultural Counselor of the Australian Embassy in China, Mr. Marcus, a famous Australian photographer, and Dr. Feng Dunping, Chairman of the Australia-China Culture and Art Promotion Association were present at the opening ceremony of the 3rd Chinese Culture Festival in Australia and the "Red-Crowned Cranes in the Eyes of CRRC Staff" theme photograph exhibition.
The "Red-Crowned Cranes in the Eyes of CRRC Staff" theme photograph exhibition caused a sensation at the 3rd Chinese Culture Festival in Australia, and many visitors voluntarily lined up to request Wang Keju to sign the album of "Menghe and Yunhe" after visiting the photography exhibition. It is learned that after 4-day display at the Chinese Culture Festival, the photography exhibition will also appear at the 2019 Australian International Railway Exhibition, followed by tour around Australia.
