On December 21, the 2020-2021 Qiqihar "Ice and Snow Appreciation and Fun" and "Millions of Teenagers Doing Sports on Ice and Snow" activities themed with "Doing Sports to Keep Everyone Healthy in Winter" started on the outdoor ice rink of Qiqihar Winter Sports Event Center.
In order to implement the call of "300 Million People to Participate in Ice and Snow sports", boost the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, and encourage the schools in the city to better carry out ice and snow sports training and competition activities, Qiqihar Sports Bureau has decided to provide 21 schools with 630 pairs of skates, 6 schools with 72 sets of ice hockey protective gear, 25 schools with 500 sets of ice hockey ground training equipment and 500 pairs of roller skates and 34 schools with 1035 pairs of roller skates. In the activity field, the representatives of the funded schools collected sports equipment.
After the launch ceremony, some roller skating club members from our city gave speed skating performances, and the sports system held a tug of war on ice.
